Health & Safety InformationVisitors 5 and up are required to wear masks in the Visitor Centre. Please maintain safe distance from other groups and our Tour Guides. Our high-touch items (i.e. audio tour rentals) are sanitized after every use. Interactive, high-touch areas have hand sanitizer stations close by for visitor use. Our reception desk has plexiglass dividers between our Tour Guides and visitors. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the Visitor Centre, including at the entrance. Ensure you continue to follow proper hygiene protocols and wash your hands regularly. The Visitor Centre has washrooms for visitor use, including accessible ones. We ask you to follow all signage and the direction of our helpful Tour Guides. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness or feeling sick, please stay home. Our tour is typically 2 hours in length, including a short film, interactive exhibits, an electricity demonstration, and a guided tour of the Visitor Centre. For the electricity demonstration, please remember to make the Tour Guides aware if anyone in your party has a biomedical device, hearing aid, insulin pump or pacemaker for their safety. There will be no charge for the students because you pre-booked your K-12 school tour. Parents are only $6 each. Admission is payable at the time of the tour by Visa, Mastercard, Debit or Cash. Additional information

Please ensure that each guest brings a filled water bottle for the visit. The water at the Visitor Centre is non-potable. The Visitor Centre does have a gift shop with some souvenirs, drinks and snack items. We have outdoor exhibits in our parking lot areas that make for an interesting, short self-guided tour. We are also located a short 5 minute walk from the Hayward Lake recreation area if that is of interest to your group, for a walk or a place to eat lunch. How to get here

We are located at 31338 Dewdney Trunk Rd in Mission. As you turn from Dewdney Trunk Road and drive towards the parking lot, the Visitor Centre will be on the right side of the road (you’ll see the roof as you drive down the access road). Please proceed to drive forward to park in the first or second parking lots. Once you’ve parked, walk back towards the parking lot entrance to our building.
