My First Day at the Range!

We are holding a youth "My First Day at the Range" event on Sunday June 4th at the Pitt Meadows Gun Club.

The event is FREE and includes a BBQ lunch!

WHO: Ages 12+  

What to Bring: Positive attitudes and weather appropriate attire.  We will shoot rain or shine!

My name is Nicholas Chee, I'm a father in a home learning family in Maple Ridge and manage the store Reliable Gun Vancouver.  Every time I go to a home learners meetup I am overwhelmed with the number of families who want to learn more about  Hunting and Shooting.  So, I am here to be of service to our community.  We are partnering with the local gun clubs to put together a series of events to provide a safe, encouraging and welcoming environment for your families to be introduced to the shooting sports. For the first event we will be using shotguns, which are appropriate for hunting small game, such as birds and rabbits and are a joy to practice shooting flying clay disks out of the sky! More events to come will include Rifles and Bows.

My goal is to have all events be free for participants as there is huge support from our industry for youth shooters.

I'd like to thank Harrison Yurkiw, Pitt Meadows Gun Club and all their volunteers for putting this all together and donating the day passes along with the clay targets for the day.  Ammunition, safety equipment and firearms will be covered by Reliable Gun.
