Learn to Fish

This program starts with an education section which includes information on hatchery operations, fish ID, and anatomy, and equipment. After the education portion we move into the Visitor Centre tour which includes live fish displays and information on the life cycle of a trout! We will do lessons and hands-on practice with skills such as knot tying, proper fish handling, and casting, then the program finishes with an hour of catch and release fishing at the onsite ponds!

You are encouraged to pack a snack or lunch (water too!); there is no food on site to purchase.

Please dress for the weather, we will be outdoors rain or shine.

This is not a drop off event, enjoy learning alongside your child.
