Junior Watershed Field Trip

Grade K - 2

Learn about the importance of a watershed through the lifecycle of pacific salmon and the species that rely on them. Discover how everything is connected within the watershed and understand the importance of healthy rivers. Engage in an aquatic invertebrate study and investigate the diversity of creatures that live in our streams. Wrap up your day with a forest tour to learn about the value of native species in our ecosystems, and the lasting impacts of invasive species.

This tour takes place outside, so please dress your child appropriately for the weather.

There will be a break time included, please pack a snack.

This is a drop off field trip. We will have up to 5 parent volunteers as chaperones
