Britannia Mine Museum

What:

Join us for an awesome day at Britannia Mine Mueseum! We will be there for 3-3.5 hours and here is all we'll experience:

1 - Copper Quest (underground train tour *may be split into 2 groups depending on final numbers*)

2 - Mineral Detectives (hands-on lab with rocks and minerals *geared for K-Gr 4*)

3 - Lunch Break

4 - BOOM! (special effects performance in one of the mills)

5 - Gold Quest (outdoor gold panning)

6 - Exhibit and Gift Shop Time (free time to check out the exhibits, gift shop and can head home as soon as you're ready)

0-4 yrs: Free

If your child has an SEA that attends outings with you they are welcome to attend free of charge, just email me to let me know as I need final numbers ahead of time!

I will send out an email to all registrants that forwards information from the mine regarding clothing, safety within the mine, education resources for beforehand and things like that. Please make sure to read ahead of time and reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
