"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." ~ Audrey Hepburn Hello April! It's finally April and you know what that means, that Spring has officially sprung. I hope that everyone has had a lovely spring break, if you chose to take one. This is my very favorite time of year, when the crocuses are starting to show their little blooms, and the sun keeps us company for longer periods of time each day. This is also a wonderful time of year to get outside and start preparing the garden or dusting off your bicycles or just simply getting outside for a nice brisk walk around the block or through the woods. Easter is around the corner and we are well on our way in this school year. I am blown away how quick this year seems to be going. As previously mentioned in the last newsletter RMHL group will be shifting gears a little in the new year and we are seeking out someone who would be willing to take on a treasurer role. Please contact Capri or Carly if you are interested and wish to help out. Capri: capririetel@gmail.com Carly: carlyri@yahoo.com "Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished." ~ Lao Tzu Our Community In Action The mom and kids Nature Walkers have been back in business and enjoying all that nature has to offer: Beautiful day to explore the Spirea Trail in Golden Ears park. Greater Vancouver Zoo day!! Fabulous day for a crab hunt at Old Orchard Park. It was chilly to start but ended up a great day at the Lower Falls Trail in Golden Ears Park. Look at all those nature explorers at the North Alouette Greenway. I took my kids to the 3D Dimensions art exhibit in Vancouver over spring break. This is a fun interactive art exhibit. Social distancing and masking between displays mandatory as well as pre booking required. A fun day for anyone who is interested in playing with camera angles: Monkey Selfie at 3D Dimensions Gallery. Happy Easter from my family to yours and may you be surrounded with nothing but love (and perhaps chocolate ;) this Easter weekend! Let everything you do be done in love. ~ 1 Corinthians 16:14 If you have any questions, ideas, inquiries or just wish to chat and connect about all things home learning please reach out and drop me a line.
